Our last blog was very personal and sad. We wanted to push a sense of urgency to anyone that reads this blog that our time here is finite/short and wasting time by doing the grind is not gonna cut it! You cant just dream about it.
Everybody dreams of traveling, but to do it you have to set goals, plan, and execute it! Businesses have meetings upon meetings to achieve the owner/CEO’s (The HEAD)Dream! The HEAD dreams it, The Company set goals, plans to achieve it (budget cuts, change marketing strategies, etc.), then executes it!
Going back to traveling, so how did we get the travel bug? It all started when Michelle and I started our Physical & Occupational Therapy Clinic. You see, both of us are business minded, we were young (26-27yrs old) and capable. So we went into it without fear!

A little later on, we found ourselves frightened, sleepless, and lost. Then Michelle found a company that does Seminars on PT/OT Clinics specializing in startups and streamlining operations. As luck would have it, their up-coming seminar was in Honolulu Hawaii!
When Michelle and I arrived at Honolulu, we were greeted with a very warm light breeze weather. We picked up our convertible car at the Car Rental Offices and checked into our hotel right after. Then we headed over to our first meal, at this shrimp truck place, recommended by the concierge at the hotel, parked on Kuhio Ave. As we sat there enjoying our Steak and GARLIC Shrimp dish , we noticed that people around us was relaxed. Everyone talking in a relaxed manner, throwing the "shaka sign" here and there, and even walking half a step slower! We weren't used to this! Then at that moment, TIME for us slowed down! We got infected with the relaxed fever! We realized that this was our first meal in which we weren’t in the hurry! You see, we were going billions of miles per hour trying to get things done in our business. Our plan was to learn hard and fast during our seminar days and work feverishly at night! We didn't anticipate getting hit on the face with the “ALOHA island life”, and you know what? IT WAS GLORIOUS!!!!

On our 2nd day during our seminar, the instructor saw that our asses were itching to exlore the island, so he graciously recommended for us to check out the famous historical site called the Pali Look out as it has one of the best views in the island. So we decided check it out the early next day morning. We took our our convertible car to the Pali Highway and arrived at Pali look-out 8 minutes later. What we found on the Pali Lookout was this majestic view of the the valley below with some scattered houses.

Apparently, Pali Lookout is (taken from wikipedia) the site of the Battle of Nuʻuanu, one of the bloodiest battles in Hawaiian history, in which King Kamehameha conquered the island of Oʻahu, bringing it under his rule. In 1795 Kamehameha I sailed from his home island of Hawaiʻi with an army of 10,000 warriors, including a handful of non-Hawaiian foreigners. After conquering the islands of Maui and Molokaʻi, he moved on to Oʻahu. The pivotal battle for the island occurred in Nuʻuanu Valley, where the defenders of Oʻahu, led by Kalanikūpule, were driven back up into the valley where they were trapped above the cliff. More than 400 of Kalanikūpule's soldiers were driven off the edge of the cliff to their deaths 1,000 feet below(end). Just like the movie 300!
Right after our shinanigans at Pali Lookout, we decided to go to a local hotspot called Boots & Kimo to have one of the best breakfast we've ever had....
Check out Part 2 of 5!
